Yesterday, I got a letter from Google Adsense Support Team, and in this letter there is a PIN for my Google Adsense. That means, I am near the day to get the payment from Google Adsense!

I was informed that the PIN was sent to me about two weeks ago, and it came to me yesterday. Two weeks, not a long time, because I am in China. This is my first time to receive Google Adsense PIN, really a little excited. I am not sure when I can reach $100, but I do see the hope!

When I got the PIN, I logined my account and finished the verification, also completed the Phone number verification. I have thought it might be a complicated process to verify phone number, but it is not the case. It’s very easy to verify the phone number, just choose the time, and then Google Adsense team will call you according to the time you set. Then just follow what the call tells you, and input the verification code Google Adsense provides you in your account page. That’s it.

Now, the main income of my Google Adsense is from my blog in Chinese. As we all know, the Asian traffic is at a low price, so the earnings from Chinese blog are a little slow. But for me, at least, it gives me confidence that I can generate revenue from my blog. I have accumulated about $60 with Google Adsense, and maybe I can get another $40 next month.

I read a blog written by a guy in his Chinese blog, complaining about the slow revenue of Google Adsense. That guy’s blog has a good traffic, also a good page rank. He does write his blog seriously, but he is not satisfied with his earnings from Google Adsense. So he claims he will drop the Adsense Content since today, and only keep the promotion Content. I have no idea about his situation, and in my mind, he should have a good revenue with that good traffic. The key point may lie in the low price of Asian traffic and the match between Adsense Content and blog content.

The Ads price of my Chinese blog is also not very high, usually 1-5 cents per click, but I do know there are some other sites in China with a good traffic while the price is quite low, even less than 1 cent. I think the content is the most important thing. we should keep on a certain topic, so Google Adsense can target relative Ads. My blog in Chinese mainly focus on how to make money online, and I always try to stay around this topic. Hence, my blog has a good match between Ads and blog content.

The promotion feature of Google Adsense has been updated, and now we can choose more promotion Ads in different categories, which make it convenient for us to promote relative products in certain page. I have used this new feature for several days, but still can’t give a conclusion about the advange of this kind of promotion ads because my site has a small traffic. I need to track it for couple of more days.

So far, I am satisfied with my Google Adsense, and the next plan is to improve the traffic of my blog and site.
