Several days ago, I received a mail from Google Adsense, which informs me that my earnings in Google Adsense have reached $50, and I need to verify my phone number. Yesterday, I got another mail from Google Adsense, it told me that the PIN has been sent to me! That means, after this verification process, I will get my payment when I reach $100.

I can’t imagine this really happens! when I applied a Google Adsense account I had no idea how much revenue Google Adsense might generate for me because my blog was less than 1 mothn old at that time. Also, my first blog is in Chinese, and I did know that clicks from Chinese taffic can’t bring me too much revenue. But I just wanna have a try, and have a test to see if Google Adsense can really generate revenue from my blog.

Things went not well in the first month after I put Google Adsense in my blog. At that time, my blog had a small traffic, and hence, clicks to my Ads were also very rare! sometimes, there were 1-2 clicks, sometimes, none in a whole day. I checked my account everyday only to see a very slow money. I almost gave it up because I only got less than $0.5 in the first month.

Then, I searched online to find some tips on how to make money with Google Adsense, and I began to realize that traffic is the most important thing. So, I tried my best to pormote my blog, and at the same time, I focused on a certain topic in my blog which makes the Ads easily match the content of article. After one month’s effort, my blog was in the list of some search engines, and traffic began to increase.

After that, the revenue from Google Adsense becomes stable, about $1 per day. Maybe $1 per day is not a big money to many Adsensers, but it means too much to me! Firstly, now I do believe I can make money from my blog with Google Adsense. Secondly, I have learned much on how to promote a blog and get some traffic. Also, if think about the price of Chinese clicks, usually only $0.01-0.03 per click, I am satisfied with my earnings. At least, I am sure to earn more if I can get more visitors to my blog. So, I will continue to update my blog in Chinese every day.

Now, I just hope I can reach $100 as soon as possible, so I can get my first payment from Google Adsense!
