At last, Nokia finally released their much awaited touchscreen phone, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. We’ve heard of Nokia’s Tube phone before, their potential iPhone killer, and now, it’s already official and will be released worldwide during the fourth quarter of 2008. So, I got to see the prototype version of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic during its launch so a word of warning to Nokia fans, this review has a few bashing against the phone so if you really don’t want to read that then kindly move along.
Design
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is again a full touchscreen phone with a 3.2 inch screen. It has three buttons at the bottom, the menu button and two soft keys flanking the menu button. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is a little bit on the thick side compared with the iPhone or the Omnia. The 5800 also has more curved edge compared with the other touch screen phones but that just gives it a bit mroe edge over the others in terms of design.
Features
Okay, so let’s get to work on this baby. Since it’s a touchscreen phone, most of you are probably wondering: does it beat the iPhone’s interface? Well, based on the prototype, sadly no. The screen was a bit unresponsive and you have to press the screen Read the rest of this entry »

I have not participated some easy making money online tools for a long time because I was disappointed so much by slashmysearch.com and agloco.com. But, One of my friends told me a new easy money making tools several days ago, and it’s called Homepages Friend. It is said this paid by searching tools came out last year, but I did not notice it. So, I have been testing it during the last week.
The conclusion is Homepages Friend might be a much better substitute tool after slashmysearch which has been proved to be a failure. Homepages Friend cooperates with Yahoo search, and this is a good promise of its credit. Compared with the direct searching in Yahoo, the advantage of searching in Homepages Friend is that you can earn some extra Pounds from your searching activities. Sounds nice! It could be a easy tool to make some extra money when surfing online. As a paid to search tool, I myself believe Homepages Friend will have a bright future if the admin team could run it properly.
How It Works?
Why Homepages Friend pays you for your searching activities? Because the Yahoo search box is embeded in your Homepages Friend. When you search something with the Yahoo search in Hompages Friend, especially when you click some sponsor ads in the search results pages, your searching activities would generate revenue for Yahoo, and Yahoo will shares this revenue with Homepages Friend, and then Homepages Friend will share this money with you.

The new browser, called Chrome, has been built to enhance the performance, stability, and usability of complex Web applications. It could help broaden the appeal of Google’s many online services.
Members of the Chrome development team and company cofounders Larry Page and Sergey Brin unveiled the new browser and demonstrated its capabilities at a press conference held at Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, CA.
The announcement ignited excitement among technology bloggers and pundits, some of whom recalled the bitter “browser war” fought between Netscape and Internet Explorer (IE) during the 1990s. However, because Chrome essentially provides a platform for other applications, many believe that it may pose a direct threat to Microsoft’s core product–the Windows operating system. Most people know better than to connect a computer to the Internet without first installing up-to-date antivirus software. But even the best software protection won’t catch every new virus, and performing a thorough system scan can require plenty of processor power, slowing some computers to a crawl.
New research from the University of Michigan suggests that computers could be better protected from viruses without sacrificing performance if antivirus software were moved from the PC to “the cloud”–a collection of servers that work seamlessly as one powerful machine. Using this approach, researchers found that they could detect 35 percent more recent viruses than a single antivirus program (88 percent compared with 73 percent). Moreover, using the distributed software, called Cloud AV, they caught 98 percent of all malicious software, compared with 83 percent, on average, for a single antivirus solution.
