I was informed by TLA  that one of my blog  is not accessible, so I checked that blog which I have not updated for several weeks because of busy schedule. Only to find that the domain name of that blog has expired.

The most bothering part is not the expiration of that domain name, and it’s that I couldn’t find the registar agent’s site! so it means I could not recharge that domain. Really desperate! I registered that domain one year ago in a registar agent which is a branch agent of a large sponsoring Registrar because one guy was promoting that agent those days. I just registered one domain name and made it as the domain name of my new blog.  Sure, a big budget.

After more than one week’s effort, my video site is finally online now. I tried to find a good Video CMS, but failed. PHP Director is the only one I found online while it is still in its intial stage and needs more innovations. After several days try on PHP dirctor, I dropped it, and turned to an Chinese CMS which provides a Video CMS. One boring thing is that Video CMS is in Chinese, so I have to traslate it into English. I am not familliar with PHP, so it took me much time to check and rewrite the PHP codes. Fortunately, I almost complete it excepet the navigation bar needs more modifications. I can’t visit hostgator.com since yesterday. Actually, I am not sure about when it was unavailable in China because I have not visited it for couple of days. Now, I have not troubles in using my host, so I usually login my cpanel directly.

Yesterday, when I wanna have a check about my promotion status, I found it was not accessible. After that, I have tried several times since yesterday, all failed. I don’t know the exact reason. Been tired of the unstability and limitations of free web host and BSP, finally I decieded to buy a web host.

It’s the first time for me to buy a web host, and have not any experience. So I searched online to find some reviews on web host service. WordPress.org recommands several hosts, but they are all not suitable to me because I wanna pay the bill through paypal and wanna pay per month. At last, I found hostgator.com.

To be frank, During the first three days, I have had some complaints on hostgator because of the complicated verification of my account.
