 I had been searching around to make a decision to buy a new Nokia cell phone. The Nseries is my first choice, but there are so many Nseries Nokia cell phone and each has its own special personality. But finally, I chose the N85 as my new cell phone, and it has been with me for several months. And I should say, N85 is the best Nseries  phone! If you are looking for a new cellphone, never let N85 go.

Nokia N85 – Music, gaming and internet in one sleek package

The Nokia N85 mobile phone is a gorgeous and neatly compact slide design handset with a two-way slider spring assistance mechanism that comes available in a sleek black or copper colour. The N85 mobile phone is a brand new from Nokia to add to the N-series range of mobile phones. The N85 comprises a very large 2.6 inch screen with active matrix OLED technology that displays up to 16.7 million colours with 320 x 240 pixel resolutions providing a very clear, bright and colourful screen display. The user can also enjoy the brightness control, orientation sensor and ambient light detector facilities that feature on the N85 mobile phone. The mobile phones many dedicated keys for various features and functions include S0 keys, multi-media key, send/end keys and short slide keys which all provide ease and manageability to the user. The mobile phone dimensions are 103mm x 50mm x 16mm and weighs a respectable 128g, considering how much technology has been jam packed into this multi-media computer. The user can expect to gain up to a maximum of 6.9 hours talk time and up to 363 hours of stand by time on one single charge of the battery.

There is a great range of call features that are provided on the Nokia N85 mobile phone including, Push to Talk, Conference calling, Contacts with images, Talking ring-tones, Call timer and Fixed dialling number support to name a few.

At last, Nokia finally released their much awaited touchscreen phone, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. We’ve heard of Nokia’s Tube phone before, their potential iPhone killer, and now, it’s already official and will be released worldwide during the fourth quarter of 2008. So, I got to see the prototype version of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic during its launch so a word of warning to Nokia fans, this review has a few bashing against the phone so if you really don’t want to read that then kindly move along.

Design

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is again a full touchscreen phone with a 3.2 inch screen. It has three buttons at the bottom, the menu button and two soft keys flanking the menu button. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is a little bit on the thick side compared with the iPhone or the Omnia. The 5800 also has more curved edge compared with the other touch screen phones but that just gives it a bit mroe edge over the others in terms of design.
